Congrats to everyone who ran Women Run the D on Sunday on Belle Isle!! 🩷🙌🏻🥇

We had several mamas running their very first half marathons — @meganjustine27, @rianjenglish_, and @racheladenaas! 🥇

And a few daring mamas who said that 13.1 miles wasn’t long enough and tacked on extra mileage for their marathon training! 🤯 Congrats to @shegoesbyfaith and @sarahkcottrell for running 20(!!) miles on Sunday!

Sarah @sarahkcottrell wins “most creative fueling” of the day with her signature pretzel necklace. 🥨

We also had tons of age group podiums, awards, and personal bests. 🥇Amy @amyj_af ran a very impressive 1:38 half marathon and Carolyn @marathon_mama_ ran a 5K the week after her marathon PR. @pellatoutant_, @kellyb3792, @innerathletemi also ran great races!!

We also had mamas show up with their kids including @jenhornok, @racheladenaas and others!

What a day! It was cold and rainy but that didn’t deter us from showing up, having fun, and inspiring others along the way. Congrats all!! 👏👏👏

Sunday Runday at the beautiful @eefordhouse this morning 🏃‍♀️😎 followed by bagels, pastries and coffee for our post-run social ☕️🥐.

We had a very special guest today — Michelle Rohl — who competed as a race walker in the Olympics and holds the record for fastest mile from a 60-year old (5:26!). She’s also a mother runner and such an inspiring athlete. Thanks for joining us today, Michelle and @michaelrohl!! 😎

Want to join us sometime? Shoot us a DM and we’ll add you to our private group chat. We run every Sunday morning at 8am from various locations around Grosse Pointe.

Summer Evening Minis always seem to make everything feel a little lighter. ☀️

It was such a joy catching up with this beautiful family again, seeing how much these two have grown - and, of course, how much Chelsea has grown too! 🩷🐾
