SLT 🩵✌🏾

Movement is medicine & SLT is some of the best medication out there. I was blessed to not only teach amazing clients but to be surrounded by superb instructors that helped elevate my game.

Kelly showed me how to be a boss in every room. Denita IS a boss in every room. Ginene taught me the music formula that fixed my sequencing. Nate showed me the importance of vibes matching movement. I learned the most brutal super lunge sequence from Chana. Annalee reminded me that fitness should be fun. Natasha taught me pacing. Danielle taught me technique. Shea taught me not to GIVE AF. I’d be absolutely no where without the training squad of Rani, Ruby & Cullen. I don’t believe in luck, but somehow Lanae was my first SLT instructor. Claudia nearly killed me. I wish I took Zora’s class more than ONCE. Chase was my mentor and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I still say Heather’s set up for several exercises. “Area Manager Lauren Michaels” is the only way I will ever refer to Area Manager Lauren Michaels. If SLT ever builds a statue for Elissa Marshall I wouldn’t be upset 🩵

I’ve taken 40 SLT instructors in the last 9 months. I’d write something about each of you if I thought anyone was reading this far. The unsung heroes are for sure the studio managers. You keep the SLT ship sailing. Thank you to my friends & family that stepped on a megaformer for me, especially my fiancée. I know that wasn’t easy Pumpkin 😅

I want to end by thanking not just the clients who made coming into the studio worth it, but the client services team aka the CST’s, aka the folks that check clients in - you’re the real MVPs. This isn’t goodbye…I hope to see you later.

Someone’s Looking Toned @sltnyc

Warmly,
Kevin Thompson 🩵

P. S. Last slide is the person that urged me to teach. Jen Greer you’re the greatest @jengreer0921

Edit: I completely forget to shout out Elizabeth Worley, my W89 Sunday morning crew partner. I’ll miss the entire W89 Sunday morning crew regulars…some of the toughest people you’ll ever cross.
