“For Eternity: The Duology” by @elizabethannemusic is out now! Some of my favorite music is the sound of artists challenging themselves. For this EP, Elizabeth and I gave ourselves a specific challenge: record the exact same song in two wildly different styles with wildly different moods. On top of being a equally phenomenal songwriter and singer who’s never afraid to be vulnerable, Elizabeth can jump easily between genres while always sounding like herself. And for anyone who’s ever wrestled with loneliness, she’s given you two outlets: Dancing Through the Pain and Crying in the Corner (because I think we’ve all done both). Working on these songs back-to-back and getting to put ourselves in two different artistic headspaces to bring them to life was so much fun and so cathartic. Please please give them a listen! Huge thank you to @karenlaurapeters for her gorgeous cello work, @carriejenningsmusic for being a one-woman horn ensemble, and to @rachelfieldaudio at @resonantmastering for a terrific mastering job!

Hey y’all, I put a few songs up on Spotify from a great recording that Egan’s got of my Seattle Cabaret show. Rachel Fields @rachelfieldaudio mastered the recording and we edited these songs to get the crowd work in. It turned out great and is a good example of what you can expect from my upcoming fall shows. Hope you love it. 😘 #livemusic #cabaret link in bio

“Swoon,” a brand new EP by @bailey.grey, is out now! (It’s actually been out for a week but I’m bad at social media so shhhhhhh...) Bailey and I are so unbelievably proud of these songs. Unfortunately (I’m in Love with You) is a pop rock song that was meant to come out in 2002 but stumbled into a time machine and and woke up in 2026. Basement of the Bar is a medley of about 5 different genres in 3 1/2 minutes, with one of my favorite choruses I’ve ever gotten to work on. And Heartbeat is a beautifully vulnerable slow, deep breath after the adrenaline of the first two tracks. All three are the sound of an artist who was born to tell stories through song. A huge thank you to @tjwatson88 for laying down the drum grooves on Unfortunately (I’m in Love with You), to @karenlaurapeters for the beautiful cello lines on Heartbeat, and to @rachelfieldaudio at @resonantmastering for her always-stellar work!

Literally Swooning rn☁️💙☁️ Chasing my Alt-Pop dreams, this is my version of an album of ‘love’ songs ❤️‍🔥 This was spectacularly fun to make, and I hope it resonates with your whimsy. This album has everything from Alt-rock fairytale imagery, soaring suspended piano and lush cello alongside a recorded heartbeat, a Queen-inspired electric guitar solo, and synths dropping into double octaves (of which we spent a long time perfecting!) “The Blue EP” by @rhys_a.p is out now! Music is more than just entertainment or a distraction - it’s a lifeline for people who need to know that they’re not alone. That’s exactly what this collection of songs is. Rhys has written a powerfully vulnerable and personal album that seems to run the entire spectrum of emotions in just four tracks. Ask anyone who I’ve played these songs for and they’ll tell you that there are moments I can’t listen to without tearing up. I know that there are a lot of people out there who will feel seen by this album, and I hope they find it. It was an absolute honor to get to work on it. A huge thank you to @jbrownlee2nd for his always-phenomenal drum work, and to @karenlaurapeters for her always-beautiful cello performance! And of course, to @rachelfieldaudio at @resonantmastering for giving these songs their best foot forward!

MY NEW EP For Eternity: The Duology 🪩🌸 will be out OCTOBER 16!! Two songs only, but…the same song?? 👀 When I brought the original song, For Eternity, to @scookstuntz, it was a slow, ukulele ballad. We recorded a scratch demo that I was ultimately not happy with and we essentially scratched the whole track. But then I had an idea—what if I did the same song in two completely different styles? And I was reminded of For Eternity. So I went back to Sam and pitched the idea. Two songs, two versions. The same lyrics, melodies (for the most part), but two genres of music. Thankfully, he was up for the challenge!! For Eternity (Dancing Through the Pain version) is our pop-dance princess, and For Eternity (Crying in the Corner version) is our sad girl piano ballad. 🥰 This was genuinely such an artistic endeavor by both myself and Sam. We couldn’t be more proud to share these songs (one song?) with you! NEW SINGLE OUT NOW! 🪩🎶🎧🎙️ . "Fall Apart" is a departure from our earlier work--the track, originally known as the "Two Chord Song," is refreshingly simple yet haunting. The lyrics depict a drowning victim calling to an investigator to solve her murder, but the case itself may pull the detective under. BAHAHAHA 🫧💀🔪 Give it a listen wherever you steam music. Or check it out on Bandcamp as soon as @jacklovedrums gets it up there 🙏 🎵 "Fall Apart" by @filthytraitors 🎸 Recorded/mixed by @jdavisaudio at @homespunaudio 💿 Mastered by @rachelfieldaudio at @resonantmastering 📸 Cover photo by @ikaikafisher . . . #newmusic #punkband #fallapart #newsingle #seattlemusic
