Neon tennis ball green hair peeking out of your foils? 😱
Did you know that Minoxidil will do this to your hair if you apply bleach?

💻From Google: Minoxidil turns hair green or neon yellow primarily when it reacts with hair bleach (peroxide). The alcohol and propylene glycol in the minoxidil formula oxidize when exposed to bleach, causing a fluorescent, greenish tint on the hair shaft. This effect is most common on blonde or light-colored hair and is considered a chemical interaction rather than a permanent dye.

👉🏼To prevent this make sure your guest fully washed their hair prior to a lightening service and avoids using this product for 48 hours prior to their appointment.

I always keep a large stock of @malibucpro products on hand and after we treated it, it was almost completely unnoticeable.
Depending on the end result you may have to tone with a slight pink undertone to counter act the neon tinge left in the hair.

Feeling ok today. A lot has happened in my life and a lot is happening in the world. I needed a haircut today, I needed to feel light and fresh with all the heaviness in my world right now. I’m so glad I did it. Thank you @rachelsixx for squeezing me in, and making my “want” come true. You did exactly what I asked for, and wow, what a great job you did with the “blunt” part of the haircut I envisioned. True craftsmanship as I know how hard that truly is to achieve. Great conversation as well. I also noticed how kind you were to every single person around you, AND how you are always staying on the positive. You’re a true gem, and I am wanting to scream this from the rooftops. I wanted a fresh start, and I got an entire glow up in one visit. And when I say glow up I mean the most important kind- where it truly matters, internally. You reminded me today of many important reasons to be alive. Thank you for giving me a whole lot of joy, and an amazing haircut today. You’re a great human and I’m glad I know you. Thank you so much, I love my hair.
