people often tell me i’m lucky for the life I live, which I agree I am blessed full heartedly.

but there’s a part of me that needs you to know my luck is strategic
part of a well thought out plan
i’m calculated.
and I learned to not waste my energy calculating others perception of me
i now prefer to focus my calculating tendencies inward
self construction if you will
brick by brick
for me
because it’s my life.

and today I celebrate the beginning of my 26th year! 🎂 I had quite the year:
November: left iceland and my job as a scientist following a chemical gas exposure which was the catalyst to the life I have built today.
December: Moved to Maui to have a warm, beautiful place to start navigating my next steps
January- April: Stayed in Thailand to continue healing my nervous system as I was still not ready to start real life again. Had my first speaking role in a short film (coming soon 🎥)
May: back to Maui and got hired with my dream photography job!!!
June-August: working a job I genuinely love, playing mermaids with my friends, and frolicking our island home
September: tears of joy

2025 was a year of peace 😌. I’d say it’s been one of the best years of my life. Moving to Australia to start creating the current dream I’m living. Two things were on my mind for this move 1. sailing ⛵️ // 2. skydiving 🪂 . Ended up finding myself in one of the most remote yet beautiful places in the world for both, Airlie Beach, Australia 🇦🇺 . A friend told me before I left Hawaii (the other half of my heart) “It’s good to have a path, but make sure you aren’t blocking out anything that comes up along the way.” I had an idea of what I wanted and how to get there but what ended up happening, who I met, and what I needed was completely different than anything I could have guessed. All of it has brought me here to where I am now, with more knowledge than what I thought my original plan would’ve. To summarize it all, I think the biggest lesson I learned in 2025 was not to disregard things that were specifically placed in your path to help you get to where you need to go. This was a year full of reflection, growth, grinding, discipline, healthy love, and not just learning but implementing all the shit that brought me to hell and back in the earlier years. It was a year of absolute light and love, a year of leveling the hell up. Because I made a promise to myself I would. Shit is always going to happen, might as well do your best to make the most out of it. Why not let it all out after just being epic, cry after skydiving out of a plane with your best mates, after exploring another country, or even just cozying up with the ones you love, eat a pickle -idk-, just do something, anything that makes you feel good and alive. It’s an absolute honor to be able to live life even after finding yourself in rock bottom with a basement multiple times… butttttt… guess what… you’re only going to be equipped with more skill and knowledge on how to get the hell out of it next time. And those moments that feel so good are going to feel sooooo much better. These are some of those moments that have felt soooooo much better.
