This weekend, we put in over 100 flowering shrubs as pollinator habitat on the microfarm. Thanks to three amazing friends, it was light work. We picniked in the pasture with the sheep on handmade quilts after, enjoying the spring sun.

There's something so powerful in help - asking or offering. It builds connections, and it makes you feel seen and valued. Giving someone your time is one of the biggest gifts of all. These three had all offered, at one time or another, assistance on the farm if I ever needed anything. Even though it had been over a year since their offers, they all were so generous with their time.

I think sometimes we feel like a burden when we can't accomplish everything on our own. But no one can. The most successful of us are still relying on others to support them in some form. When people offer you help, it's okay to accept it - even if you can't accept it in the moment.
