“The mind is the king of the senses, but the breath is the king of the mind.” ~ Hatha Yoga Pradipika 🔥

Breathing is both a conscious and an unconscious function of the body, and it holds a powerful influence over the mind. By taking control of the breath we can leverage deeper direction over the way we think and feel — and over the depth of our meditation practice. No wonder it is such a powerful tool for healing and transformation!

All of our Hatha classes incorporate authentic Pranayama (yogic breathing) techniques based on both tradition and science, to prepare you for the more subtle meditative practices. (Hot tip: pranayama is the essential preparation step before meditation — we cannot meditate effectively without it!)

Want to learn more about this process? Sign up for our four week course Meditation Foundations starting this Tuesday night with Aimee.

…Or, see you on the mat for class. 🙏🏽📿
