Elliot Havok — Havok Chronograph
This watch makes me want to go racing.

The Havok from Elliot Havok is a San Francisco-designed chronograph with a setup that feels straight out of vintage rally racing—the green dial, black tachymeter bezel, contrasting subdials and that great brown leather strap.

It’s one of those watches where the design tells you exactly what inspired it before you know anything about it.

And being a Bay Area watch, I couldn’t help imagining it somewhere down the coast at Monterey, timing laps with old race cars screaming by.

Then I hit it with the UV light…
That lume sealed the deal.

This is exactly the kind of slightly unusual watch I love finding.

#Hublot kicks off 2026 acquisitions for me, with the Big Bang Meca-10 Ceramic Carbon 42mm (Panda special edition) courtesy of the Hong Kong IFC Mall who was kind enough to make me the first person to own it in Greater China. While Hublot may have their detractors I must say they are unabashedly committed with NO hang ups about the FUN to be had with materials, colour designs and strap changes - in a holistic way, not piecemeal with the dial colour carousel some brands seem to have innovatively plateaued at. My 2 cents.
