✨ A little visitor, a big message ✨

Today, in the middle of the day, a raccoon quietly came to visit my home.
Not at night — in full daylight.
It stopped near the water, looked around, and gently moved on.

For me, it felt like a reminder.

A reminder of adaptability.
Of intelligence mixed with gentleness.
Of moving through life with curiosity instead of fear.

This house is not just a house to me.
It’s a multidimensional sanctuary — a place where art, healing, silence, and transformation coexist.
Where life speaks in symbols, colors, and unexpected encounters.

Maybe the message is simple:
✨ Be resourceful.
✨ Stay curious.
✨ Live in the light without losing your softness.

I’m grateful for these small moments that feel like whispers from life itself.

I'm #1 with feral raccoons, so I assume that can carry over to humans? With my nicer livestream setup, doing a series of weekly livestream shows on Youtube and seemingly simulcast to FB, starting this weekend. I'll do custom improvs and more 4u during them if you join any Patreon tier.

Plus, most importantly, overjoyed and a bit intimidated announcing two shows with my dear USA friend, the amazing talented and kind @spencerlajoye . We first met when we both won @kerrfolkfest newfolk contest a few years back. First... an intimate show Feb 18th at @takecoverbooks Peterborough and Feb 23rd in a big church hall in partnership with NUUC Toronto... a bold move, with anyone and everyone invited.

I believe perhaps more than ever is an important chance for LGBTQIA+ folks and allies to find new ways and places to be united through art and showing the depth of our experiences... and what a way to play full out for that than with these shows. Community will helpnus through the storms of the next four years and onward. If you're in Toronto or PTBO, you do NOT wanna miss those shows. Ill remind ya plenty but still, mailing list will ensure you're reminded. All linkques in me byo.

Mischief in the moonlight! @katebdex and I were on a mission to find our sneaky kitty who slipped out, but little did we know... we stumbled upon a band of adorable raccoon thieves instead! Their cute little faces and twinkling eyes had us smitten! We never did find our kitty that night, but he did return in morning with lots to say!
