Due to the insane wild fires blazing through the province of bc (Whole province in emergency state since yesterday) We had to skip 2 stretches today due to the extremely bad air quality along with road closures and highway guidelines for pedal bikes. We made an extra day of progress which puts us in Vancouver tomorrow instead of Tuesday. We’re gonna leave Victoria island to be its own day And do Hope-> the ferry to end the day tomorrow. We want everyone to understand that we do prioritize our heath, we definitely could’ve biked the stretches of bad air quality but we were both getting light headed and coughing on the bikes so chances weren’t to be taken. See you guys tomorrow for day 50!!
