I truly can’t put into words the deep joy I felt being in this space. To be surrounded by Black creatives, artists, designers, thinkers, and visionaries warmed my spirit in a way that’s hard to explain. You felt the room. You felt the inspiration. You felt the Blackness.

There’s something so powerful about gracing spaces like this and seeing people who look like you creating, building, and taking up space unapologetically.

Having people come up to us asking, “Are you guys Cointel?” “Does your coat turn into a bag?” “I noticed the zippers and knew you were the Coat N Tote people” was everything. Seeing people recognize my husband, his craft, and the world he’s built with Cointel was such a beautiful feeling.

Then, out of thousands of people, we were selected as Best Dressed, asked to walk on stage, and became part of the CultureCon fashion show.

Truly a beautiful experience. Grateful to have been in the room, grateful to have been seen, and grateful to be building. 🖤

On our last night night Johnny surprised with me the cutest date night at casa Kimberly which was @elizabethtaylor house in Puerto Vallarta. If you ever get the chance to go you have to go there right before sunset so you can see it both in day light and the evening. The history behind the house is so cool and it’s very romantic. Thanks @johnny_gines for my favorite night in Mexico ♥️
