Two days. Two different rides. One hell of a weekend in Vermont.

Saturday’s Blue ride brought wet trails, technical lines and a crew ready to work together. Sunday’s Green ride changed the pace—back roads, fall color, mountain views and the kind of Vermont stops you only find by leaving the main road.

Different terrain. Different goals. Same RGS standard: clear communication, steady pacing and a day built around the entire convoy.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the September New England Trail Ride Series Doubleheader. You showed up prepared, looked out for one another and made both days exactly what they should be.

We’re back out West. This time, we’re headed to Idaho. 🏔️

1,500 miles from Kalamazoo, Michigan to the southeast corner of Idaho with @msoverland and a route none of us had run before.

We didn’t know exactly what we were getting ourselves into. We just knew we were headed west.

This is Day 1 of the Hammer Down trip.

Back at it again with our friends @treadlightlyteam and the @u.s.forestservice working on some special projects at Spruce Knob Lake and Spruce Knob Lake Campground. We’re just one day away from @adventurexfest and days like this are so rewarding - thanks to all of the volunteers that should up to make great things happen in the Monongahela National Forest.

Two days. Two difficulty levels. One weekend on the trail.

The September New England Trail Ride Series Double Header is coming up September 26–27 in Vermont.

🔵 Saturday • Blue Ride — 2 spots available
A more technical day for drivers ready to work through tougher terrain, make deliberate decisions, and put their skills to use.

🟢 Sunday • Green Ride — spots available
A confidence-building day focused on learning your vehicle, improving technique, and spending quality time behind the wheel.

Different terrain. Different challenges.
Same Ridgeback approach.

Small groups. Thoughtful pacing. Professional guidance. And a full day built around becoming a better, more capable driver.

Join us for one day—or make a weekend of it.

Pick your day. Pick your challenge. Join the convoy.

The crew. (And the only solo photo of myself I captured out there. Much prefer life behind the lens.) :::::: Hammer Down Idaho Adventure 2026 with @msoverland @ok4wd

Another great day in the books.

A big thank you to everyone who joined Ridgeback Guide Service Saturday for our August New England Trail Ride Series Blue Ride in Central Vermont.

Good trails are easy to remember—but it’s the people you share them with that make the day.

We had a great group working their way through Vermont’s Class IV roads, navigating the challenges, helping one another when needed, and putting a little more experience behind the wheel with every mile.

That’s what these rides are about.

Not conquering the trail.
Not proving who has the most capable vehicle.

Learning. Building confidence. Exploring responsibly. And having a damn good time doing it.

Thank you to everyone who trusted Ridgeback Guide Service with your Saturday. We hope you headed home with a little more confidence, a few new friends, and some stories worth telling.

We’ll see you on the next trail.

Ever been somewhere only once, but that one visit was enough to make you feel homesick for it? This basin in Idaho did that for me. ::::::: Hammer Down Idaho Adventure 2026 with @msoverland and @ok4wd
