At the end of every semester, our community gathers in person for one to two days of presentations, real-time feedback, and creative collaboration.
This past spring, Radius Collective joined us to deliver an inspiring keynote and lead “Prompt”—a high-energy, one-day workshop exploring distance through rapid design and experimental making. To wrap it all up, participants turned their collective experiments into an incredible, on-site exhibition!
Residency is where theory meets practice, but most importantly, it’s where our community is nurtured and connections are made. It’s a time to support and inspire one another, concluding with a celebration of everyone’s hard work.

In early May, members of @radiuscollective were invited to the @mfacdtxst Program at Texas State University, sharing the keynote presentation and leading an all-day workshop with their graduate students. Informed by our own collective practice, the workshop consisted of a series of multimedia design prompts that resulted in collaborative installations in their FL3X Gallery. Super grateful for the welcoming TxSt Comm Design team (especially Emmy Belsole) who took care of us in San Marcos, and for the super engaged students who were all in throughout the event. 📷 by Radius Collective and @libbyallenphotography

We’re excited to introduce Prompt, a one-day collaborative workshop led by Radius Collective!

The workshop explores the theme of distance through rapid design prompts and experimental making activities that investigate mapping, translation, and movement. By the end of the day, participants transform their collective experiments into a collaboratively designed exhibition assembled on-site.

Can't wait for a day of making, collaboration, and creative discovery on May 2nd!

Highlights from my summer letter experiments! Some of my favorites made it out into the real (offline) world—some for a snail mail collab with @radiuscollective and a few for my first art commission 😊

My new photo project: “Calm in the storm”

Public green spaces in New York City are a rare and precious commodity, which is why the community’s outrage over the impending destruction of Elizabeth Street Garden for a new housing development is so profound. Despite alternative sites being suggested for the project, Mayor Adams remains resolute in his decision to proceed. This photographic series seeks to preserve and map the fleeting moments and memories of this cherished space before it is irrevocably lost. By positioning the photographs in the gallery as if they were part of a verdant wall, the final work aims to offer the viewer a similar sensation of being engulfed in the garden’s lush and calming greenery.

This work was featured as part of “—graphies” our latest @radiuscollective show that was on view at University Gallery UMass Lowell @uml_artdesign January 21st—March 8th, 2025.
