30 years of the Kent State University Gospel Choir!! 💙💛

It was a honor to come home to KSU last Thursday to celebrate this landmark. My years of conducting this group left an unforgettable impact on my life, career, and connection with gospel music. It also connected me to my dear brother, Professor Rodney Hubbard, who has continued to lead KSUGC with great brilliance and passion. God has certainly purposed him for this work!

Thank you to my brother, the Hubbard family, and the choir for how intentionally you honored and celebrated all of us. From sharing the stage to direct and sing, to celebrating Dr. Angotti’s vision as the founding director, to singing “Total Praise” with our friends and family — it was a night to be forever remembered.

Soul sista
[sol • sis • tah]

An irreplaceable person. Someone who is by your side throughout all of life’s dramas no matter their own troubles. A person that accepts your weirdness and loves you anyway. Someone who laughs with you and cries with you. The best thing you can have and the best thing you can be 💕✨

I went to the Boy is Mine Tour last weekend in Detroit and babyyyyyy…that concert was incredible. The mics were on! Brandy, Monica, Kelly Rowland were PHENOMENAL and looked AMAZING! I had a ball! If you were contemplating going to one of their shows, just do it, you will not regret it! 🔥🙌🏾
