Meet Raven Johnson, our VP of Membership Development. ✨

Raven has a heart for making sure our members feel seen, challenged, and involved, and she’s doing it through programs like our Leadership Development Program (LDP), Board Fellows, and Rotary Transitions. Plus, she’s working on new ways for our members to connect and grow. 👀

We’re grateful for Raven’s leadership and excited to see how she helps our members grow throughout the term!

June wasn’t just a photo dump—it became the beginning of a whole new chapter.

Some things I chose. Some things chose me.

A new phone because life happened.
A new number.
A new Instagram.
A new perspective.

I’ve realized that not every fresh start comes wrapped in excitement. Sometimes it comes disguised as inconvenience, disappointment, or change you never saw coming. But I’m choosing to believe every ending creates space for something even better.

So here’s to embracing the reset, giving myself grace, and welcoming everything this next season has in store.

Starting over doesn’t mean starting from scratch—it means starting with everything I’ve learned. 🤍✨

Hello again, Instagram. 🫶🏽

Hi again,

Here are a few photos from Carolyn’s 31st Open. My only goal was for everyone to pick up a racquet and hit a ball; they did that and I might have hitting partners in 4-6 weeks. ☺️Anyway, go play tennis.

We have unbelievable gratitude for how well this went. Our community is the best.

Should we do another Carwash Cookout in November?

What an honor to be in the room!

💛 So much talent.
💛 So much curiosity.
💛 So much support for a cause we should all dare to be more educated about 📚

Tonight we shared stories, heard of more than humble beginnings, honored our pasts and invested in our futures- well our city’s future by sharing in the belief that each child born in the city of Birmingham under the age of 5 deserves a foundation of lifetime literacy 🤓

Cheers to #storytime and many more chapters to come! If you haven’t heard of @birminghamtalks , please look them up and/or reach out to me with any curiosities about the impactful work they are doing with REAL, tangible results.

P.S. loved getting to see my girl @raedafolk serve as the B E S T emcee for the evening✨ and getting fired up all over again after listening to the wonderful @ruthannbmoss
