Sophisticated gear for demanding climbers

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Learning to fly… .
While other approaches to training are much more obvious and thus treacherous, for many climbers, training in stress- and riskmanagement might be a bigger lever. Especially in the area of plateauing around 6b/+ to 7a/+ it is a common pattern that all other approaches are limited due to stress, control and anxiety. We’re superhappy that we can work on amazing places like @diekletterei @swobodaalpin @neiundnauf and many others and offer training and coaching in the wider region.
We strongly recommend addressing your stress- and riskmanagement before every step out of your comfort zone!!!

What happens if you fall on the Zaed??? Is the pin strong enough? Pins are very common in slacklining but not climbing so we pulled the rope to see what happens. It’s as strong as any quickdraw and broke in the dog bone first. You are NOT supposed to fall on the zaed or you will have NO resistance, BUT if you did it’s super strong enough.

Some like the Ohm, some like the Zaed. At a 92kg and 52kg difference having a belay resistor is important. They like the Zaed and here is their story. Full episode coming soon. If you want your opinions to show up in that episode fill out this form https://forms.gle/WfsmFhgUFHyNnyxC8
