I am so grateful for the opportunity to get baptized and take this important step in my faith. Thank you to everyone who came to support me and celebrate this special day with me, it truly means so much. Getting baptized has changed my life in such a meaningful way, and I’m so thankful for everything God has done for me.

Confirmation is not only a great blessing of the Holy Spirit but my next step in my Catholic faith. This journey has been such a blessing and I’m beyond grateful for everyone I’m surrounded by.

During my confirmation retreat one of my friends, Gabby mentioned this verse that really stuck out to me. “unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you cannot have eternal life within you.” - John‬ ‭6‬:‭53‬ ‭NLT‬‬. This verse helps me to understand my catholic faith. It confirms all of my confusion that I’ve ever had about my religion.

Doing this with my sister is even more of a blessing. This has not only brought me closer to God but also has brought me closer to my sister. It is so amazing to have someone to lean on during this journey in my faith. I’m so grateful for you, Rae.

Especially after tonight, if there is anything I’m sure about, it’s that giving your life to God is the most important thing you can do in your lifetime.

I’m so grateful for Youth Group, Mary Queen of Peace, my friends, my family, and my youth minister Beth. She made this such an unforgettable experience. I couldn’t have done it without her.

Thank you Jesus! Amen. 💗
