They didn’t need gold to prove they belonged on the world stage.

ARENEES came from Ghana, represented Africa, and walked away with WORLD BRONZE. 🥉

But their story is bigger than a medal.

To every young African dancer with a dream that feels too far away — because of money, distance, opportunity, resources, or simply because nobody around you has done it before — keep going.

Your circumstances do not decide how far your talent can travel.

Arenees made the journey. They stood among the world’s best. They represented their people, their culture and their continent.

And now they leave a message for everyone coming behind them:

Dream beyond your borders. Believe before the world believes. Find your people. Keep working. Keep showing up.

Bronze today.
A legacy already started.
And the story is far from finished.

Africa, your time is NOW. 🌍🔥

One of our best WSB qualification events of 2026 happened in Christchurch, New Zealand. 🇳🇿🔥

Intimate. Entertaining. Community-driven. Creative. Captivating.

Beautifully captured by @nishyy_xo WSB Christchurch was a reminder of what makes street dance special — the raw energy, the personalities, the friendships, the battles, and a community coming together to give the next generation their moment to shine.

It wasn’t about having the biggest stage. It was about what happened on that stage.

Christchurch brought the ENERGY. The dancers brought the HEART. And together, we created something we’ll remember for a long time. ❤️‍🔥

To everyone who danced, supported, judged, DJ’d, performed, volunteered and showed love — thank you for making our first WSB Christchurch one for the books.

This is only the beginning for the South Island.

Much love Euphoria, Ace, Swarm, Anna Lee, Silhouette, En Beat, District 3, The Grange, JG, Ron, Rina, Kava & Pyramids.

Christchurch, we’ll be back. 🏆🌏

First comp of 2026 with @wsbstreet moving their North Island qualifiers up to Auckland this year, and our soloists came out strong!

Organiser @marcoandreselorio arrived from the Philippines with a strong focus on community at this year's comp, and every dancer was challenged to meet at least five new dancers - this really set the vibe for the competition. It was also great to reconnect with our friends from other dance companies, particularly our collab company @collab45.nz

Not only did our dancers compete with their solos, but they also joined in the cypher at the end, with the crowd choosing Ata and Blake to go head to head in a battle.

Thanks to the organization team, with a special thanks to @raehoogie - your support is truly appreciated. Also thanks to the judges @indigosagala @tmerito @its.rinachae for not only judging but also for encouraging us with your feedback.

🎤 MC duties @wsbstreet 2026

Thank you @marcoandreselorio for having us onboard, one for the 📚!

@wsbstreet was our first competition where we won the NZ qualifier event as a Duo years ago. We then went on to compete in our first International event, the Asia finals, where brought home a Gold.

Today was a full circle moment, hosting and connecting with new dancers 🫶
