Well, that’s a wrap on softball. Although I had to make the difficult decision to not continue my athletic career collegiately, that does not take away the love I have had for this game. Softball has been my rock since I was just 4 years old hitting a ball off the tee and getting told when to run, to the age of 19 where I am now packing my bag up for one of the last times. To the hours of softball practices, the time spent traveling all over the place for tournaments, and to playing almost 5 days a week every week. Softball has brought me joy, gratitude, and also lots of pain. I will forever cherish the ability I was gifted for the game and the friendships I was given along the way. Torie, Raeley, and Abigail, from the knockouts to the bruins, I’m so grateful that I had far more than three years with you guys. Aleah, thank you for being my sidekick and moving schools with me(ps. we won’t split the trophy). Kitty jr. thank you for the endless amounts of laughter and “kitty” jokes, I also see a nightly FaceTime coming your way (iykyk). And a major thank you to everyone else for pushing through this season with positive attitudes and giving us seniors one last go at the state tournament. -✌🏼#6
