From behind the scenes… to center stage ✨

Partnering with Maybelline New York at The Ladies Expo was such an exciting opportunity to share my passion for makeup education with an incredible audience.

There’s so much that goes into a live stage demonstration that people don’t always see—the preparation, planning, product selection, and those few quiet moments before stepping on stage.

But once the demonstration begins, it’s all about connecting, teaching, and helping people discover techniques they can confidently use for themselves.

Moments like these remind me why I love what I do. It’s never just about applying makeup—it’s about educating, inspiring confidence, and sharing knowledge with others.

I’m so grateful to @thebeautyconceptja and Maybelline New York for the opportunity to be part of such a memorable event.

✏️ TIP THURSDAY is back and today we’re tackling eyeshadow. Students of my makeup classes often find this to be the most challenging part. Here’s what will help:

- use a different brush for each colour
- always blend where colours meet
- keep each colour defined, each in its own little house so to speak
- no matter the level you stop at, add definition- this can be through an eyeliner (on the top, bottom or both), with mascara, and/or adding lashes.
