Yesterday while having a session at @the.rubexperience with our guests, one of them watched me reflex a rose and said, “I love it! Please show me how to.” 😍

So I thought, why not share it with everyone too? 😊

Here’s a quick tutorial on how I do the reflex technique with a rose. It’s such a simple little technique, but it completely changes the look of the flower and adds so much character to a design. Easy though else you might just ruin your petals 🥹

Leaving the pitch room today feeling incredibly proud of the vision we are building for our host communities. 🥺
Pitching this initiative was exhilarating on its own, but doing it surrounded by the stunning floral decor at our venue, Rukkies' House (and even getting a quick lesson in floral art from @rafad.ng ), made the entire experience visually surreal. 🌺✨

Balancing clinical medicine with the demands of pageantry is an extreme sport, but moments like today remind me exactly why I started.

Who knew defending a healthcare initiative would happen inside an absolute floral masterpiece? 🌺🩺

Today, I stood before the panel to defend my pitch for the Health Equity for Host Communities Initiative. But amidst all the talk of community infrastructure and medical outreaches, I was completely captivated by the breathtaking floral decor at Rukkies' Decor. @rukkiesdecor
I even took a quick detour from pageantry and medicine to learn a bit about the delicate science of floral art from RAFAD! @rafad.ng

It was a perfect blend of purpose, pressure, and petals. Today was truly quite the experience, and it reminded me why I love balancing all these different sides of who I am. 🌸

Looking forward to whatever magic tomorrow brings for Day 3 of the Non-Residential Camp! 👑
