LANZAMIENTO CARNAVAL DOMINICANO EN NEW YORK… Con la participación de la comunidad dominicana, representantes institucionales y estatales, se llevó a cabo en la ciudad de New York el lanzamiento oficial del “DESFILE DEL CARNAVAL DOMINICANO EN NY 2027”. La Sra Virginia Meléndez ideóloga del Desfile del Carnaval Vegano en Manhattan, disertó sobre los inicios del carnaval en el nuevo mundo y las primeras manifestaciones carnavalescas iniciadas en La Vega. El Lic. Elvis Abreu, presidente del Desfile De Carnaval Dominicano En New York, dio a conocer los detalles que van a llevar a cabo con la participación de las autoridades estatales, las diferentes representaciones carnavalescas radicadas en USA, y las representaciones oficiales de Rep. Dom. El evento se desarrolló en el salón de la Cultura Dominicana en NY, con el auspicio del Consulado Dominicano y el Instituto de Dominicanos y Dominicanas en el Exterior. Este lanzamiento concluyó con un compartir entre los invitados, armonizado por un destacado saxofonista dominicano de la ciudad de New York y la alegría que caracteriza el carnaval.

Adapting, Overcoming, and Achieving — One Buzz at a Time 🐝 Life has thrown me a curveball, but as Sovereign Bee, I’ve learned to embrace the challenges with the same determination I bring to every event I plan. While my body is healing, my mind remains sharp, and my commitment to creating unforgettable experiences is unwavering. This injury has tested me in ways I never imagined. From working from a wheelchair to hiring extra hands to ensure every detail is flawless, I’ve been reminded of the importance of adaptability. It’s not easy, but I can’t say it’s been incredibly hard either. I’m deeply grateful for my incredible vendors @bemarketingcomm @bemktmia @printedgraphicsnj @ronaldpintos Alex Fabian who continue to believe in me and for God, who has opened my eyes to new perspectives. This journey has made me more empathetic toward those facing physical challenges—it’s a humbling and enlightening experience. Sometimes, things really do happen for a reason! A while back, I submitted a bid for an event in Puerto Rico, but fate had other plans. My presentation didn’t go through as intended (Canva tech issues 😅), and I thought I missed my shot. Fast forward, I find myself at a completely random event with a ticket I didn’t even expect to have, where I meet Calixto. We hit it off, and next thing you know, I get the call to create an incredible experience for none other than the New Latino Film Festival! My team designed, built, and executed the activation for the new series The Penguin,staged at Quisqueya Plaza. We acted as NYLFF’s partner for their closing festivities. It was truly one of my favorite events ever, and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. A huge thank you to my amazing team and all the incredible vendors who helped bring this vision to life.
