Busy month. Several audience members confirmed they deeply enjoyed the complimentary drinks.

02.03 — Owen Wingrave last show (and I’m pretty sure a record set for most opera projects a violist has done at GSMD).
03.03 — Quartet concert at @wearefidelio with wonderful @tiagosilva_violin @leon_o_human and @williamhylcello.
11.03 — Anderson, Prokofiev, Stravinsky at the Barbican. Programme speaks for itself and so does my eroded D string.
14.03 — The perfect amount of Beethoven at LSO St Luke’s with @wearefidelio. Had loads of fun until @suzieeee_ ‘accidentally’ launched her bow towards me on the final chord of the Eroica Finale. Thinly veiled assassination attempt… Lovely pictures from @rayforasecond !!
16.03 — More Beethoven!! Again with @leon_o_human and @williamhylcello. If you’re wondering why we didn’t have Tiago this time, he went on a hike shortly after our previous concert and we haven’t heard from him since…

It was a joy to sing Mahler’s Ich bin der Welt abhanden gekommen — at @jewishbookweek 2026 in London, with @raffomorales at the piano, for the presentation of his book The Earth to the Skies.
An evening of words, thought, and music that seems to step away from the noise of the world and into something eternal, beautifully chaired by @norman.lebrecht.
