Respeitamos que a segurança esteja sempre em primeiro lugar. Mas é impossível não sentir uma enorme frustração pela forma como esta decisão foi tomada.

O nosso camião de assistência já estava a poucas horas de Teruel. Os pilotos já tinham chegado. Equipas vindas de todo o mundo, meses de preparação, milhares de euros investidos em logística, viagens, inscrições e assistência… tudo ficou para trás de um momento para o outro.

O risco de incêndio e as altas temperaturas não começaram esta semana. Eram conhecidos há muito tempo. É por isso que custa compreender que uma decisão com este impacto seja tomada tão em cima da hora.

Uma corrida pode ser cancelada. O esforço, o investimento e o sonho de centenas de pessoas não deviam ser tratados desta forma.

Esperamos que esta situação sirva para que, no futuro, decisões desta dimensão sejam tomadas com maior antecedência e respeito por todos os envolvidos.

Today we received the news that the 2026 Baja España Aragón has been cancelled.

We fully respect that safety must always come first. But it is impossible not to feel deeply frustrated by the way this decision was made.

Our assistance truck was already just a few hours from Teruel. Our riders had already arrived. Teams from all over the world had invested months of preparation and thousands of euros in logistics, travel, entries and support… all of it stopped in an instant.

The wildfire risk and extreme temperatures did not begin this week. They had been known for a long time. That is why it is difficult to understand why a decision with such a huge impact was taken at the very last moment.

A race can be cancelled. The effort, investment and dreams of hundreds of people should never be treated this way.

We hope this leads to better planning and earlier decisions in the future, with greater respect for everyone involved.

No women’s category? No problem! 💪🏼
My first enduro race and being the only girl competing out of 6 competitors in my category. It was a tough race and I did not expect to see a tough crash on the 3rd lap and I panicked the rest of the race😅 This shows the raw truth of racing and I learned so much from this race. I came in second place and earned 2 medals instead of one for being the only girl in the race and first girl in Lebanon to finish an enduro race.
🥈 Clubman 🥇 Woman. Huge thank you to @motocrossacademy.lb and @phoeniciangoats for this event and of course to my coach @rafic.eid because behind my goals is a coach fighting harder than me to finish every time and be able to compete against anyone so 🥇 place to him too 🙌🏼🏍️🏁
