@raftr would like to remind you that when you wash your bike, please clean off your number plate so we can read it next week and make sure your results are correct.

But first wash your face.

First bike race of the year! 🚴‍♂️

Rodeo Cross is always a blast, and when I decided it was time to get back to racing, this felt like the perfect place to reintroduce myself.

Choosing not to go for the holeshot pretty much sealed my fate outside the lead group, but settling in and building faster laps as the race went on without blowing up felt like a win in itself.

Most of my riding lately has been controlled efforts or hours at a time at a comfortable pace. Cross racing? Full gas. A solid dose of HR training as I build toward an upcoming marathon PR attempt!

The course was super fun, but one of my favorite parts is always the reunion. Catching up with familiar faces whose lives we mostly follow through social media while everyone juggles the busy stuff of life is something special.

Add a couple of double handfuls of extra flavor each lap, and you’ve got yourself a proper day of racing!

I’ll happily take 8th place. Maybe next time we’ll send it from the front! 🤙🏼

Haven’t been excited about riding my bike lately, but I am excited for @folsomrodeocross for the rest of my Wednesdays in October! My only goals are multiple hand-ups in per visit to Heckle Hollow, getting out of the way while being lapped, and not dying.

@b7eastshop also filmed a favorite backside flip over their fence … another trick I thought I’d never see and I’m so psyched to be able to make a vid on it … I took those demos serious I guess … give it all everytime … much love and respect to @b7toshiomorimoto

Introducing: Bar Bliss Stories 🥂

We’re kicking off a new series by going back to one of our favorite celebrations — Reba & Brendan.

We had the pleasure of serving them last year, and with their one-year anniversary just a few days away, it felt like the perfect time to revisit their beautiful day.

Because behind every celebration is a story — the people, the details, the little moments, and the memories created along the way.

This is Bar Bliss Stories.
A look back at the celebrations we’ve had the honor of being part of. 🤍

Every pour. Every moment. Elevated.

It’s kind of weird going on a ride I started but only experiencing the recent A group iteration for the first time. @fosterthis volunteered to sweep so I could join @g0yins for her 1 year group ride anniversary. I lost the pointy end of my fitness over the last few months (OUCH) but feeling like a passenger while my adult child drives (this ride, and honestly Emily too HAHA she ripped my legs off and I still lost our final sprint. Sorry @raftr your leadout was perfect, I shit the bed ☠️😂) was a beautiful thing. Everyone knows what to do. Everyone takes care of each other. Easy. I think when you put together a thing like this, you hope it will evolve into a) something people want to come out to for years and b) a way for everyone to feel empowered to play a part in keeping it alive. You love to see it. 🥹❤️🥳 // 📸: @sturossbaker // #gravel #gravelbike #cycling #cyclinglife #bike

Wandering aimlessly around @xgames gets the juices flowing. So much to see and do. Running into old friends was the best.
