Wes Francis, Your loss, your void, leaves me without a work brother. You were always the one dude closest to me in age. Could relate to my old school references and dad jokes and would laugh it off with me when the kids would be dumb dumbs.

Someone said to me Sunday he and I were the glue that held things together. And I thought on that. We were always bonded, always the same goal and attention and want to make people laugh and enjoy. Both staff and guest. Never too serious because that’s just dumb. And well people are pretty dumb too. You always shared my number 1 core value in the importance of laughter.

He was about soigné, which in this business is essentially the swag you need to impress. He had it! He got it!

Wes was my glue when I was at work. He propped me up on many of my toughest of days that I’ve had these last 3 years. We related to each other. We had an understanding. We had a responsibility to take care of each other. We respected one another even when service went to shit or we were presented challenges.

Wes was the embodiment of care that you strive for and strive to receive from others. It was selfless and would put one at ease.

Without Wes in it. The world is less bright.

Wes taught me a lot. And for that I am grateful but the most grateful was the daily reminder to not take things too seriously and laugh, giggle, smile. You can always find it. Most of all be with and prioritize those you love. Wes always had a knack for making plans with people and spending time with his friends. Was always the supporter. And giver!

Never thought I’d miss your nags for table touches but I will “Adam will you touch table # and tell them about so and so, or will you go do your thing to table so and so. Or your friends are here anytime old people walked in. And so many more….

Wes was the glue! Wes was the soigné!!!! Will forever miss you! Love you brother!

Rest in paradise!
