We’re back for Round 2 of our Halloween cocktail pop-up tour, and it did not disappoint! Started off at @little_rituals_bar because you simply cannot skip those clay pot wings paired with some seriously creative (and spooky) drinks. From there, we walked over to @bitterandtwisted_az to satisfy our sweet tooth and check out their playful Halloween menu. Overall another great outing. Special shootout to @rahtbabie and @toolongofahandle for their hospitality and small talk.

Life’s been crazy, I’ve been crazier (well actually probably not) Thankful for all the love from my friends, family, & community who have shown up and chose to love me anyways. Every call picked up, word of encouragement, or to those who’ve celebrated my tiny wins. Cheers to all the seemingly small moments that have made me feel whole again🥹.

tried tagging everyone and Instagram capped me out at 20 😭😭 which honestly just shows how many people there are to thank from the food, to the drinks, to the education, to the hospitality, and every single person who poured something into this experience. Season 1 of Hospitality Unplugged did NOT disappoint. I went into this trip thinking it was going to be one thing and walked away with a completely different perspective. I’ve been lucky enough to experience some amazing industry trips, but I’ve truly never been on one quite like this. I packed my actual bags for Sedona… but apparently I packed my emotional bags too. 😂 And somehow, three days later, I came home feeling like I had unloaded 100 pounds I didn’t even realize I was carrying. What makes that even more meaningful is that I was so close to canceling this trip. I had just experienced a loss, and part of me wanted to stay home and shut everything out. Instead, I found the strength to allow myself to go. To unplug. To be present. To let myself feel everything I needed to feel. And most importantly, to let my friends be there for me old ones and brand-new ones. I’m so incredibly grateful and blessed that I got to be a part of this, because I genuinely can’t put into words how much I didn’t know I needed it. Sometimes strength isn’t pushing through everything by yourself. Sometimes it’s allowing yourself to put the bags down and letting the people around you help carry them for a while. 🖤 Season 1, you set the bar pretty damn high. Wow, I don’t even know where to start. I just got back from three incredible days in Sedona for Hospitality Unplugged, hosted by @juniperandjigger @asher52 and @kailee.asher A group of us from the Phoenix hospitality community came together for something our industry doesn’t make enough time for: education, connection, health, and wellness. And wow… was it needed!!!! We spend so much of our lives taking care of everyone else creating experiences, serving people, working long nights, and constantly giving our energy away that sometimes we forget to pour some of that energy back into ourselves. These three days gave us the opportunity to unplug, reset, learn, breathe, and reconnect. We strengthened friendships we already had and built new ones on a completely different level. We were surrounded by some of the best people in our city, learning from people who genuinely care about making our industry better not only behind the bar, but as humans outside of it. I came home feeling replenished, inspired, grateful, and reminded that taking care of yourself isn’t separate from being great at what you do. It’s part of it. I am humbled and grateful to have been a part of the first @juniperandjigger Hospitality Unplugged! Being able to see everyone in a new environment, context, and mindset has been truly refreshing and inspiring. Seeing everyone open their hearts up over the course of the last few days has left my heart full and my hopes high 💕 This industry (and Phoenix community of bartenders) would not be where it is today without its leaders and mentors helping us navigate through hard moments and cheering us on through our victories. It’s always a treat to host friends from across the country at our San Antonio tavern. Well friends, I shall keep it short. Maybe. Cats outta the bag I will be leaving Little Rituals this August🥹. I cannot even describe the pride I feel working alongside this crew everyday and the once in a lifetime experience it has been. I hope I was able to give back a shred of what this place has given me. My heart is so full. Aaron and Ross have really instilled magic and love into this place and I am forever grateful to them for the chance to work at my dream bar. To my friends who I happen to share my work days with—I love you so BAD WOW. But I’ll get a few weeks to be sappy with you PERSONALLY (a threat). FINALLY I am moons over my hammy to accept the position of Agave Master Brand Ambassador for @patron and repping the incredible @ilegalmezcal and @tequilacazadores. IYKYK this has been my dream job for a long time. I can’t wait to express my love for these wonderful spirits with my friends (you if you’re reading this)!! Thank you to everyone who has helped get me here. Thank you to the people who believed in me and thank you for being a part of my life. I love you guys. I can’t wait to see you on the other side of the bar💚🤎.
