📸 3/3

A night built on passion, community and some unforgettable moments.

From the walkouts to the final bell, the atmosphere at VETRI was something special. Huge respect to every fighter who stepped through those ropes and gave everything in front of the crowd. 🥊👏

A massive thank you to the organisers, coaches, officials, sponsors and everyone behind the scenes who made the night possible. 🙌🏽

🇨🇦 TAMIL UNITY 🇬🇧
Martial arts isn't just about training. It’s about bringing people together. Grateful for the chance to meet, connect, and build strong relationships with Tamil brothers and sisters from across the ocean doing what we love. No matter how many miles separate us, our roots and our shared passion bring us together every single time.

Speed Debating III is BACK, and it’s women’s ONLY.

Questions can vary from politics to philosophy to tech and so on!

After each round, you move to a new table with new questions, new women, and another 20 minutes to do it all again!

Come with a strong opinion or none at all. Either way, you’ll leave thinking differently.

The only rule is that we attack the idea, never the person.

📅 23 October, 6:00 PM
📍 The Hearth (Library), 16 Lonsdale Road, Queen’s Park

Introducing our October book: Homegoing by Yaa Gyasi 📖

Two half-sisters, one Ghana, two entirely different fates. This one moves across eight generations and 300 years, and it’s going to give us a lot to sit with.

Themes we’ll be digging into: identity, legacy, displacement and belonging.

Here’s how it runs:
🗓️ Online session — 27th October
🗓️ In-person session — 31st October

This is the first book in Debatable’s book club, and we couldn’t think of a better one to kick things off with for Black History Month.

debatable book club - what is it?

one book a month, and a real conversation about it.

this one’s built around curiosity & conversation, same as our debate nights, just a tad slower with a book in the middle of it.

reading kicks off at the start of the month, group chat check-ins throughout, then we close it out with a chat in-person and online (don't worry if you're not based in London🌎)

every month sits under one of our pillars, fiction and non fiction both welcome.

first cycle starts in october. 20 person cap, small on purpose.
