Hi, I’m Rahul, a Trauma Surgery Physician Assistant and the person behind Fall Safety Vest.

Every week, I care for patients whose lives changed in an instant because of a fall. Those experiences inspired me to start Fall Safety Vest to help connect families with wearable technology designed to help protect older adults at risk of falls.

This couldn’t ring more true for me

70 hour+ work weeks

Wanting to deliver the best care for your patients and be there for your teammates

While trying to navigate motherhood and having two under two

I’m surprised the burnout didn’t come faster

It was the quick irritation, inability to recover mentally even with time off, unexplained anxiety and an overall feeling of doom that wasn’t able to be treated with a week or two off or a vacation.

And No it didn’t happen overnight but as the demands of work and motherhood increased simultaneously. I felt myself in an impossible position.

My husband and I had a meeting this time last year asking ourselves where we saw ourselves and what needed to change to get there. An uncomfortable but necessary convo that led him to go so hard into building the business and for me to enter the marketing world to help him and join wealthrx , working hard to pay off my student loans and have a clear financial plan for our family

A year to date from when it all began I walked away from my fulltime job I absolutely love and joined my husband full time to continue to build our own business and have time for our family.

No we don’t have all the answers but we have our vision

Thankful for my wonderful colleagues and surgeons that taught me and guided me for the past 6 years including our queen @naiavery , @beach_bum_md for all the trachs we’ve done and always so ready to teach me , @airtrell22 for the wisdom , for the APPs that went above and beyond to teach a new grad 6 years ago @yelitza76 @ferganash @kalknight and those without insta , for the amazing nurses and healthcare staff that made even the toughest moments possible. Forever thankful 🤍
