It in fact will be going down again next meet 😝😊😀!

This race: Going into this race I was nervous because one of my goals this year was to break that individual school record in the 400 and I haven’t done it yet so I knew I needed to do it soon to feel accomplished. I also fueled and prepared my body so well this week and sleep plays such a big part in track success that l am now learning. I’ve been chasing this PR for so long and to do it on a rainy day was super cool!

For anyone that’s confused: The original record was a 59.0 BUT that was hand timed in 1999 and the rule in track is you have to add 0.2 seconds to a time that you hand timed to be an official time, if your not using the OFFICIAL TIMING SYSTEM because the brain doesn’t react fast enough to sound than the electronics do. So therefore if you add 0.2 to 59.0, my time of 59.13 beats that school record and l can now say l’m a x3 time RELAY and a INDIVIDUAL RECORD HOLDER. So thank you to God, my coaches, and my teammates to helping me get to where l am today can’t wait to keep breaking it over these 3 years. #thankful #400mrecord #track
