What loves you will always find its way back to you 🏄🏽‍♀️💕🐬 @reedinkites What does it feel like to lose something you once loved the most?

Kitesurfing has given me more than I could have ever imagined. It made me rich in experiences, rich in friendships and taught me how to face my fears and trust myself.

But after months of pushing beyond my comfort zone, I had a bad crash. I could barely walk, let alone kite. It was feeling like I had to navigate it on my own.

After that, a lot of things have changed. I questioned myself. I doubted. No session felt rewarding enough anymore. I kept trying and I couldn’t understand why the love I had for this sport seemed to disappear.

But maybe love doesn’t always disappear, it just needs time to find its way back ❤️

I gained a whole new level of respect for the athletes who keep showing up after injuries, setbacks and fears. It takes far more than physical strength to get back out there 🫶🏽

But what’s meant for you will always return, even if it takes longer than you expected. And sometimes, coming back to what you love feels even more meaningful than falling in love with it the first time 🤍
