MORE THAN MUSCLE. MORE THAN A MEDAL. ❤️🌈

Meet my Filo bro, Isaac! 🇵🇭🏳️‍⚧️

His journey hasn’t always been easy. Since beginning his transition in 2012, Isaac has found strength through fitness, learning to appreciate his body not for what he wanted to change, but for everything it CAN do. 💪

And now he’s stepping onto the Rainbow Games competition floor, not just for himself, but for his community and the younger version of himself who never thought this life was possible. 🥹

“I didn’t just survive my journey. I built a life beyond it.”

And THIS is exactly why Rainbow Games means so much to us.

It’s more than fitness. It’s about representation, belonging and showing up as your authentic self. ❤️

Every body has a story. Every story belongs. 🌈

📅 31 October | Auckland
🎟️ FREE for spectators!

BEYOND THE LEADERBOARD 🌈 | Athlete Spotlight #1

Strength looks different on everyone. And every athlete has a story worth telling.

Meet Rachel. ❤️

After years of battling endometriosis and chronic pain, and undergoing a hysterectomy earlier this year, Rachel is stepping onto the Rainbow Games competition floor with a purpose that goes beyond winning.

In her own words:

“This is about me regaining my strength and taking control back of my life.”

And THIS is why Rainbow Games means so much to us.

Because fitness isn’t always about lifting the heaviest, finishing the fastest, or standing on a podium.

Sometimes it’s about rebuilding confidence, celebrating what your body can do, and finding a community where you feel you belong.

We’re so grateful to Rachel for trusting us with her story and allowing us to share it. We hope it reminds someone out there that they’re not alone in their journey.

Rachel, we’re cheering you on! ❤️

Every body has a story. Every story belongs.

⚽🏳️‍⚧️🌺 “We need to look beyond the athlete’s body and ask about the world that athlete has to live in.”

Football trailblazer and Rainbow Games ambassador Jaiyah Saelua talks exclusively to YOUR EX about growing up fa’afafine in American Samoa, becoming the first openly trans player in a FIFA World Cup qualifier, and why sporting inclusion begins with creating communities where trans people feel safe and valued.

And her message for anyone still thinking about registering for the Rainbow Games?

“You might even meet your next ex.” 👀

Registrations close 16 October.

Being a Games Ambassador has got me back on the field! Just not quite the one I’m used to.

I’m giving kickball a go, and my team, “Kick Me Baby One More Time”, needs a few more players.

If you’re keen to try something new too, register yourself, add “Kick Me Baby One More Time” as your team, and come join me at Rainbow Games 2026.
