Was cleaning my phone’s gallery, as you do when you’re a tinzy whinzy bored, and I came across this video of mine. It is from 13th of March 2022 (2 years and 2 months ago) at the class room where we used to have our Voice classes in 1st Year (reach for a peach, remember that?) did not like it at the time, and looking back at it now I struggle to understand why?! Maybe the acting? Maybe the singing? But it seems almost perfect to me now. Maybe I am starting to feel like I am enough. Not complete, there is always progress to be made, but rather enough as I am, for now.

Also, I read that Jlo is going to play the role in a new musical film. Love her, but if they happen to rethink it, I’d like to put myself up for the role. Why not gender bent it? Or make it gender-less? That’d be interesting. We saw the other version enough times, don’t you think?

Love always

I’m just so grateful for all of the ways @jessicavosk uses her voice: to sing (obviously), to talk about grief and loss and what moving through those things feels like, to exemplify how people who aren’t drinking can still be the funniest and most delightfully unhinged people you’ve ever met, and to bring joy to so many different types of people. 🩵🩵🩵
