Salt Lake City is pushing a 2AM–6AM alcohol ban in all non-residential spaces — even private, invite-only gatherings. The ordinance carries $500 fines for individuals and $1,000 fines for organizers.

If this passes, nightlife in SLC will be forced underground, making it unsafe and stripping away our city’s artistic soul.

Plumhouse and its peers are facing an existential risk.

Salt Lake City is trying to pass a 2 AM–6 AM alcohol ban in ALL non-residential spaces — even private, invite-only spaces. This ordinance would punish our community with $500 fines for individuals and $1,000 fines for organizers for each offense.

If this passes, nightlife in Salt Lake will be driven deeper underground, making it less safe and stripping our city of its creative heartbeat.

We need your voice. Sign the petition, share this post, and stand with us to protect Salt Lake’s nightlife and cultural future. #ProtectSLCNightlife
