I couldn’t imagine a better show as my first original musical directing credit. Thank you to everyone in the company for giving your heart and talent to bring this to life: 11 cast members, a 4-piece band, and hours behind the scenes from the creatives and Team Epheverie to make this possible. Together we brought a 2 hour, time-bending new musical to life! I hope I’m lucky enough to direct shows about rebellious queer Asian women forever. Thanks for the words, Scarlett. 🦋 Swipe to the end for the BTS as always - company dinners, sitzprobe, Raine’s birthday, impromptu prod meetings in the street, wig realness, and more!

THIS SHOW IS FOR BIG KIDS. Meet the cast of KID FRANKENSTEIN, THE MUSICAL. Raine Higa as Frankie Steiner Tori Cutalo as Sarabeth Jacob Lesko as Louis Jocelyn Lonquist Klein as Mrs. Steiner / Audrey Skyler Wright as Monster Frankie Steiner is an thirteen-year-old genius who has recently lost his father. Believing anything broken can be fixed, he sets out to bring him back as a robot the night before Halloween. It works. And that’s the problem. A funny, campy Frankenstein musical built around a surprisingly real story of a boy discovering that growing up sometimes means accepting the things even the smartest kid in the world can’t fix. For big kids, ages 7 and up. SUNDAYS AT 1:30 PM October 4, 11, 18 & 25 Actors Temple Theatre 339 West 47th Street, NYC 55 minutes. No intermission. Tickets from $29.50. Pre-season offer: $25 Rear Orchestra & Balcony with code BIGKID25 through October 3. VitalTheatre.org/kidfrankenstein Kid Frankenstein, The Musical casting announcement graphic. Electric green title lettering over a glowing yellow lightning bolt, surrounded by purple smoke, laboratory equipment and two mysterious covered figures. Large text reads “MEET THE CAST.”

It’s hard to choose a cover photo that encompassed these last 5 weeks in Miami but I guess this is it! Miami was hot, vibrant, and colorful. It’s been a hot minute since I’ve gotten to lead a show and I’m feeling extremely grateful to have had this opportunity. I’ve learned a bunch and have a newly-restored confidence with my voice and in myself. Thank you to the cast, crew, production team, and of course Kathy and Tung! We did it 💚🌴🦋 Got to visit the gorgeous @fairchildgarden My favorite were the butterflies, hands down 🦋 Climbing trees! 🌳 Feeling bendy Honestly the top three favorite things about my time in Miami was @bushidomuaythai Monday-Friday mornings I biked at 6:45 am to go to class. The warm-up definitely helped me get ready for the hard work ahead! I mean, look at em! They’re the best. Until next time friends 🫶🏼 @bushidomuaythai My girl @thianaanaa driving me around…and @the_real_lucky_bruno hanging out somewhere… Blown away by the talent and stage presence of our very own @roqueandroll I will miss the animals that so casually roamed around Miami especially the peacocks and iguanas 🦎🦚 and ofc Hank 🐴 Ofc we saw the movie showing of Hadestown! 🥀 it was gorgeously filmed 😍 Young Tung, actual Tung, and Adult Tung 🍜 Opening Night came together! Roomie and arguably everyone’s fav cast member 🤠 @rainehiga We workin’ in the kitchen 🔪⏲️ Better late than never, on my last week I decided to change routine and stop by this adorable coffee truck on the way back home. She made me her yummy personal go-to, something like iced shaken espresso with cinnamon, oat milk, and caramel. Thanks girly! Iconic. Pops came by, I’m so happy he came through! ✈️ My Kathy! Couldn’t have been able to do this without you Gals dressing room! Buncha cuties! Happy closing! Thank you to the Moya family for sharing your home and hosting our last get-together 💕
