I realize I haven’t posted in a while. Unfortunately, I’ve been away dealing with a fairly persistent dragon problem. Nothing particularly exciting—just the usual routine of crossing hostile wilderness, consulting suspicious old men in taverns, recovering a sword from somewhere unnecessarily difficult to reach, and killing several enormous fire-breathing reptiles that had apparently decided I was personally responsible for their grievances. The whole thing was extremely inconvenient. There was treasure, naturally, although most of it was either cursed or subject to local taxation, so financially the expedition was something of a wash. I did rescue a village, but they were surprisingly casual about it. Not even a plaque. In any case, the dragons are dead, the kingdom is marginally safer, and I have returned to civilization with several new scars and an even lower opinion of public transportation. I can now resume posting things nobody asked for. Thank you for your patience during this completely routine interruption.
