to S. Korea & on the way… 🚶‍♀️✈️🇰🇷 The weeks of Japan & South Korea tours were absolutely CRAZY! 🤪 Both tours were confirmed before I signed my contract for The Voice Teens Season 03, and alas! The second weekend clashed with the Grand Finale! 🥲 Joined the Semi-Finals via Zoom, through my PHONE! 😌 With a typhoon 🌀 in Japan at the time, I was terrified the connection would fail. But nope! Fantastic cellular connection! 🥲 Just my “LankanTrauma” I guess! 🤪 🛬 Wednesday morning: Back in Sri Lanka from Japan. Spent the day at Stein recording voice cuts, rehearsing & training my finalist (with two wonderful teachers handling rehearsals while I was away ♥️). 🛫 Wednesday night: Flew BACK to South Korea! 🎤 Friday, 25th Sep: Show in South Korea! Packed up and headed straight back! 🛬 Saturday, 7 PM: Landed in Sri Lanka, drove straight to Stein Studios from the airport for final rehearsals & preparations for Sunday’s Grand Finale! YES, work is tiring. But goodness, does it bring me JOY! ♥️ I get to work with some pretty awesome people and live the life I want. Even the back-to-back madness is something I genuinely enjoy! There’s a certain happiness and humble pride in knowing you’re working honestly & hard to achieve, maintain and upgrade the life you’ve built for yourself. And to all those who keep me smiling through it all… I LOVE YOU! ♥️R . . #concerttour #singer #thankyoujesus #southkorea #travel 🧳 Over S. NZ Vlog is 🆙! It took me 3 months just to clear my phone for space to export it. I finally was able to delete 20GB off my phone before uploading it on YouTube 🥲 better late than never 🤷🏻‍♀️😝🩷🌟
