🛶Meet Rain Te'i 🛶

A Māori (Te Rarawa, Ngāpuhi) and Samoan actress, model, singer and dancer based in South Auckland. ☀️Watch this space — Rain Te’i is just getting started.

A fresh Toi Whakaari graduate, Rain is already making waves across screen and theatre. “With performance being an intrinsic part of her identity, Rain draws deep inspiration from the Pasifika diaspora, focusing on the unique actions and experiences of these communities as they navigate the quest for a sense of home.”🌊

Lima Productions Trust is pleased to have been a small part of Rain’s arts journey and we're all looking forward to her future creative ventures. 🔥🔥🔥 @rainlmao

In a small town in Aotearoa, children are going missing and crocodiles have started appearing in the mangroves surrounding the town.

After an unceremonious exit five years ago, Jess has returned to her hometown, where familiar faces and strange happenings haunt the air of this once-intimate place. Nan is six feet under. Pippie itches. Mutton sings to the fish. And Kōwhai can’t stomach anything.

This band of strays sets out to uncover what is happening to their town, but secrets and old grudges threaten their mission as scales begin to appear and time burns out.

Perhaps the missing children aren’t missing after all…

S.L.U.G is returning for their 4th time this year! And this time making their Tāmaki Makaurau debut with Mangrove Eaters, a nostalgic, darkly funny, magic realism story about the end of the world (with music).
