This is not an easy post to write.
Gymnastics has been my world for so many years. It shaped me, challenged me, broke me, and rebuilt me more times than I can count. It taught me discipline, resilience, sacrifice, and what it means to give everything you have, even on the hardest days.
But sometimes loving something also means knowing when to let go.
Walking away from gymnastics is one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever made, but it’s a decision I’m making for my mental health. I’ve learned that success means nothing if you lose yourself in the process, and that taking care of your mind is just as important as training your body.
This isn’t giving up. It’s choosing myself.
It’s choosing peace, healing, and growth.
It’s choosing to listen to myself for the first time in a long time.
I will always be grateful for everything gymnastics gave me and for the person it helped me become. This chapter will forever be a part of my story.
Now it’s time for a new beginning. 🤍
