BIG FISH ACT 2 POST!!

I know I’m a bit late on this one, and for that I apologize. Even so, I would like to dedicate this act to our directors. From our incredible choreographer Mrs. Dryer, the lovely Mr. Vanlandingham and the unparalleled Dr. Welsh (our musical directors), to the incomparable Lindsey Welsh, our company director and one of the greatest creative minds I have met in my time on this Earth - as short as that may be. To each and every one of you, I give thanks. You gifted me the chance to delve deeper into myself, my goals, my dreams, and what it truly means to share the human experience of art through live theatre, all while being unwavering in your support of not only myself but each of my fellow performers and artists. I couldn’t have asked for a better way to bid farewell to this company, nor the chapel of creation that you have transformed your auditorium into. I beg that you (though I’m sure you will) continue to build, create, and support the exploration and experience of art and theatre for all the generations that follow, and that you uphold the expectation of excellence you have that makes this company what it is.

To Calen, I thank you for your vocal support, feedback, and technique. As scared as I was to meet you, this show and the experience of building it wouldn’t have been the same without you.

Once again, I give all of you the utmost gratitude for sharing this experience with me and my peers, for treating us as artists and not just as students, and for being truly human.
