POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Too many lies. Not enough authenticity.

I’ve been learning to control the urge to overtrade, and instead of forcing another move, I decided to pull out my studio equipment.

Not trying too hard…Just raw thoughts, real energy, and getting things off my chest before I turn an impulsive thought into an IG rant. 🥴

Finding a healthier way to release dopamine. Less reacting + More creating = A therapy session

I needed some therapy, so I decided to make a song with my baby boy. I haven’t done this in a while, and I forgot how good it feels to put my feelings into music. Sometimes you have to rap/sing what you can’t quite say.

What you think? And when a therapist isn’t available, what do you do to release what you’ve been holding in?

I’ve always believed that God rewards me for all the good I do for others. But when I really sit back and reflect, I realize that 60% of the times I’ve voluntarily helped someone, it somehow ended with a slap in the face.

This has taught me a valuable lesson: just because you have a good heart doesn’t mean everyone deserves access to it. Some people are users, some are ungrateful, and some are going through the consequences of their own choices because they refuse to help themselves. Not every situation is mine to fix, and not every battle is mine to fight.

I’m learning that sometimes, the best thing you can do is stay out of the way and let the universe handle what it has already set in motion. I refuse to get caught in the middle of someone else’s backfire, karma, or life.

You can still have a good heart without constantly sacrificing your own peace, time, and energy for people who wouldn’t do the same for you.

I need help sometimes, too, but the only person I can count on is my granny. So I figure it out, I make it happen, and I keep going.

My trading journey has been a reflection of my love life.
Holding on to losers for way too long and cutting my winners short because I was scared to lose what I had. 🫩

But sometimes, the biggest breakthrough comes when you get quiet enough to hear yourself. For the last two weeks, I literally put my phone on Do Not Disturb and took a step back. No distractions, no unnecessary noise, just me, the charts, and the work. 📊🧠

And let me tell you… I’ve been learning so much, not just about trading, but about ME.

I’m learning patience. Discipline. Emotional control. How to stop forcing things.

Because trading will expose every part of you that still operates out of fear, impatience, and emotion.

The goal isn’t just to become a better trader. It’s to become a better version of myself. And sometimes, that means putting the phone down, getting out of your own way, and doing the inner work. 🤍📈

The lessons I needed in the market were the same lessons I needed in life.

Why does procrastination feel so good in the moment but hurt so bad in the end? The temporary relief, the guilt, the overwhelm, the self sabotage. Knowing exactly what you need to do but struggling to make yourself do it is a different kind of exhaustion. #ADHDStruggles #motherhood #ExecutiveDysfunction #boymom

A few weeks ago, I was genuinely worried about my teenager. @breakerbreaker05 I felt like a failure as a mother, and I knew I had to act FAST before I lost my son completely.

All he wanted to do was MUSIC.

No job. No DoorDash. No side hustle. No interest in doing anything that could make him money.

So I kept telling him: LEARN HOW TO TRADE.

At first, he didn’t want to hear it because he saw how much time, studying, losing, learning and discipline I had to put into understanding the market.

Then I showed him what was POSSIBLE (THE MONEY 💰 I MADE)

And suddenly… he was interested and locked tf in. 😂📈

One thing I’m going to do is teach my kids that there is more than ONE way to survive in America.

Entertainment.
Sports.
Business.
Investing.
Technology.
Trades.
Education.

Find what you’re GOOD at, become GREAT at it, and learn how to turn your skills and knowledge into income.

Money isn’t everything. I KNOW THAT.

But being poor is a mf, and I wouldn’t wish that struggle on anybody.

I don’t want my children spending their adulthood just trying to survive. I want them to understand money, ownership, investing and how to create opportunities for themselves.

That’s also why I post my journey.

I’m not posting because I have everything figured out. I’m posting because somebody watching me might realize:

“Wait… I can learn this too.”

I’m trying to send my kids down a different path and maybe inspire a few struggling mothers along the way. ❤️

They told us we had to work hard just to survive.
They told us sports & entertainment were the only paths to wealth.

They lied.

They called powerful women whom were healers witches because they feared what they didn’t understand.

They told us investing was only for rich people.

They lied.

The truth was always hidden in plain sight. 🐍✨

Wake up. Learn the game. Break the spell.

Single mama life looks a little different over here. 🤎
My kids are my JOY, and I genuinely love spending as much quality time with them as possible. I’m literally THAT mom… if my kids aren’t allowed, I probably won’t go.

And Sundays? Family time. Not screen time. 📵❤️
Unless, of course, I have to pop on and drop some content real quick. 😉

That’s exactly why I love the freedom that trading gives me. Being able to work toward making my little $500/day while still having the flexibility to be PRESENT for the moments that matter most.

Because for me, it’s not just about making money.

It’s about freedom. Flexibility. Memories.

You never know WHO will believe in your dream. 🥹

So I’m betting on myself. Yo @veryorganic_dre thanks for the shirt bro❤️🤞🏾

Every album I sell helps me continue my journey of using HIPHOP to help END RAC😳ISM one song at a time.

This is bigger than music for me. It’s a mission. So I don’t cuss in my songs that much anymore.

Buy an album. Support the journey. Save it as a collectible

@alextodd Albums on the way

I just want to say THANK YOU to @alextodd and everybody who went on my website and purchased my album and merch. Y’all actually had me SOLD OUT of physical albums, but I just restocked and I’m getting more orders packaged and sent out right now!

For the few people who recently purchased the DIGITAL album because the physical copies were sold out, especially my supporters overseas who really wanted a physical copy, inbox me your receipt. I’ll send you a physical copy of the album.

School started back, so I’ve been LOCKED IN, but I haven’t forgotten about y’all. I appreciate every purchase, every stream, every share, and everybody supporting this journey.

Independent. Young. Dreaming BIG. And y’all are helping me build this one album at a time. 💿

Thank you for believing in me. 🖤

We were tricked into believing that crime and 9-to-5 jobs were the only ways to make REAL money.

That’s a lie‼️

This game was designed to keep too many of us in survival mode. Broke, struggling, starving, and feeling like we have no options.

There are SO many legal ways to make money out here. And one of the closest feelings to robbbbbing a bank WITHOUT actually robbbbbbing one is TRADING. 😂

If you are a hustler, I suggest you look into trading.

You already understand risk, patience, timing, taking losses, watching for opportunities, and knowing when to make a move.

Now take that same mentality and apply it to something LEGAL that can actually change your life.

Don’t gamble. LEARN THE MARKET.

I’m still learning myself, but I wish somebody would’ve introduced me to this years ago.

The goal is bigger than money.

Take that hustler mentality and put it somewhere that can build your life instead of costing you your life. 📈

WEEK ONE of day trading as a single mom 📈

I moved across the country with no job and two kids, spent a huge chunk of my savings just surviving, and quickly realized the opportunities I had access to in California weren’t as easy to find out here.

So I had two choices: panic… or PIVOT.

I decided to go back to a skill I tried to master years ago: DAY TRADING.

And this is literally WEEK ONE.

I’m not claiming to be a guru. I’m not pretending I have it all figured out. I’m documenting what happens when a single mom decides to bet on herself, study the charts, control her emotions, manage her risk, and take a skill seriously enough to master it.

Starting over doesn’t mean starting from zero when you’re bringing experience with you.

I have two kids depending on me, so sitting around waiting for an opportunity has never been my style.

If the opportunity isn’t there, I’ll learn how to CREATE one.

Welcome to Week One of my trading journey.

Let’s see where I am in 30 days.
