Clearing the air 🤍

I’ve had a lot of people asking my family and friends questions about my faith, like what I believe, what I don’t believe, and what “group” I’m in. So I figured it’s best to just say it myself.

First, please know this:
I am genuinely a kind, open, and approachable person. I love talking about faith, Scripture, the Most High, and our Messiah. You never have to whisper, speculate, or assume. If you’re curious, you can always ask me directly 🩷

Now, to be clear:

I am not in the Black Hebrew Israelite camp.
I am not in Judaism.
I am not a Seventh-day Adventist.
I am not a Jehovah’s Witness.
I am not part of any religious system or denomination.

Some people refer to me as a “Torah-observant Christian” or “Messianic” and I understand why those labels are used…especially with how I choose to educate my children and many of you come from Christian backgrounds as I did. While I respect that, the more I’ve learned over the year, I personally don’t anchor myself in labels like that. My focus is simply on following the Most High and our Messiah as faithfully and sincerely as I know how.

What I do believe is simple:

I am a follower of the Way - the truth and the light. A child of the Most High. I desire to walk as our Messiah walked, in relationship with our Abba, not in religion.

Our prayers were answered exactly one week ago! 😭 Baby is here, safe in our arms. Healthy and so deeply loved!!! 😍🤍

The siblings are OVER THE MOON 🌙 and completely in love with their little sister! Conner has been such an incredible partner through it all, and watching him become a daddy of 4 has been so precious to witness. ☺️

YAH has carried us every step of the way, and my heart is still trying to take it all in!!! 🤲🏽

Thank you all for the prayers, encouragement, and love! We are doing well and settling into life as a family of six.

One snuggle, one feeding, and one sweet newborn yawn at a time. 🥹

We’ve been in the cocoon for what feels like forever, and somehow month 9 is finally here (coming to a close 👀.) 🦋

As we prepare for YAH to safely bring baby #4 into this world, I can’t help but reflect on His faithfulness!

There was a time when I didn’t think I deserved this. After losing our first baby at 12 weeks and finding out she no longer had a heartbeat, I wrestled with guilt, grief, and questions I couldn’t answer. 😔

But YAH!!!! 🤲🏽

His plans were greater than what I could see in that moment!!!

Through the tears, through the waiting, through the questions, I kept turning my face toward Him. Not perfectly, but faithfully. He met me where I was, strengthened my faith, and taught me what it means to trust Him with an “even if” kind of faith. 🏹

Even if I don’t understand.
Even if the answer isn’t what I want.
Even if the waiting is long.

Six years later, here we are… three beautiful blessings earthside, one precious baby waiting to make their arrival, and one sweet baby resting safely in YAH’s hands.

I don’t share this to compare journeys, because every story is different. Some are celebrating, some are grieving, some are still waiting, and some are praying for their miracle. My heart is simply to encourage every mama to cling to YAH. Hold on to hope. Hold on to faith. Hold on to Him!!! 🙏🏽🤍💌

“This I recall to my heart— therefore I have hope: Because of the mercies of YAH we will not be consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning! Great is Your faithfulness.”

🤣🤣🤣 When they finally stop following doctrines of men… and now we’re blowing shofars together 😭🔥

In all seriousness though 👀. My heart is full. Not everyone’s there yet, but we’re growing, learning, and walking — and that’s a blessing I don’t take lightly.
Still praying for the ones who haven’t seen it yet.
Asking YAH to keep opening eyes and softening hearts… for those with ears to hear. 🙏🏽

No more holidays — just His set-apart times.
No more traditions of men — we walk in Torah.
And through it all, we follow Yahusha (Messiah), the Living Word, who showed us how to walk the narrow path in love, obedience, and truth — led by the Ruach Ha’Qodesh (Holy Spirit).

Still learning. Still seeking. Still surrendering.
One step, one prayer, one appointed time at a time.

Chagim (Biblical feasts) over culture. Torah over tradition. YAH over everything. ✨ Yahusha is the Way — and the Ruach is guiding us! 🤍🕊️

P.S. Still walking this out in real time… trusting the Most High to align every part of our lives with His truth, as I keep taking obedient steps.

📖 “Train up a child in the way he should go, Even when he is old he turns not away from it.” — Proverbs 22:6

I thought I had more time. More time to make a decision. More time to figure it out. But here we are—kindergarten is around the corner, and I suddenly felt the weight of the choice ahead.

Public school? Private school? Christian school? Hybrid? Homeschool? I kept praying, asking YAHUAH for guidance and discernment through my research. And time after time, one answer kept pressing on my heart: Homeschool.

That thought absolutely terrified me. A child’s entire education… in MY hands? What if I fail? What if I’m not patient enough? What if they fall behind? 😖

But then I remembered… this isn’t just any child. This is MY child. And they are in YAHUAH’s hands. 😮‍💨🙌🏽

I think about Moses—“I’m not good enough.”
Jonah—“I don’t want to go.”
Gideon—“I’m too weak.”
Jeremiah—“I’m too young.”
Peter—“I’ve failed too much.”

Every single one of them felt unqualified, yet The Most High YAH called them anyway. And that’s when I realized—it’s not about me being “good enough.” It’s about being willing. 💡

I don’t have to have it all figured out. I don’t have to be perfect. I just have to row—He provides the current. 🚣🏽‍♀️

I know how I want my babies to be raised. I know He has plans for them. And for me. Everyone’s path looks different—this isn’t a dig at public school, private school, or anything else. I went to a Christian school until 7th grade, and then I chose public school. Looking back, I’m so grateful for that foundation. But now, knowing what I know, I can’t knowingly place my kids into an environment that goes against everything I’m teaching them at home. I can’t pretend I don’t see the indoctrination. 🚫

I’ve prayed for guidance, and He answered. So now, I’m trusting Him.

No matter what anyone says.
No matter who doubts me.
No matter what fear tries to creep in.

I’m going all in. YAHUAH is leading, and I’m following. And that’s all the confirmation I need. 👏🏽 — @raisingtinydiscipleswithdes
