There’s something about a Ganapathi bhajan that gets everyone — the quiet elder folding her hands, the stern-faced Major softening for a moment, an entire crowd of strangers becoming one congregation.

“Pamba Ganapathi” has always carried that kind of energy. From Pattalam (2003), sung with such devotion by MG Sreekumar, composed by Vidyasagar, written by Gireesh Puthenchery — it’s one of those songs that doesn’t just play, it gathers people.

We carried that same feeling to Bhajan Tarangam, Coimbatore, on 12th September. Different city, different crowd, same prayer. Same Ganapathi who listens whether you’re on screen or standing right there with folded hands.

This one’s for everyone who’s ever found a moment of stillness in a crowd, through a song.

Some bhajans don’t need an occasion. They just need people willing to sing together. Grateful for every voice that joined us that evening. 🙏

🎬 Some songs never age. They just
wait for the right voice to
rediscover them. 💙

“Onnaam Raagam Paadi Onnine
Maathram Thedee...”

1987. Thoovanathumbikal.
P. Padmarajan’s quiet masterpiece.
Mohanlal and Parvathy walking the
courtyard of Vadakkunnathan Temple,
Thrissur, a melody by Perumbavoor
G. Raveendranath, words by
Sreekumaran Thampi, and the
voices of G. Venugopal and
K.S. Chithra carrying a love
too shy to speak plainly. 🎞️

At Bhajan Connect Thrissur
(August 23, 2025), Nandagovindham
gave this evergreen romantic
classic new breath — and we
brought the two together. The
original visuals. Our own voices
underneath them. One song,
two generations of Kerala,
singing the same yearning. 💙

Onnaam Raagam Paadi. 🙏

🐘 Ganapati Bappa Morya! 🙏

Today, on Ganesh Chaturthi, we
celebrate the one who is worshipped
before every other prayer begins. 💙

“Devadhi Deva Ganapathi Deva...”

God of Gods, Ganapathi Deva —
the remover of every obstacle,
the giver of every good beginning.

At Onam Ragam Nandagovindham,
Kerala’s Biggest Bhajans
Experience, the Nandagovindam
family called upon Ganapathi
with this invocation, under
that magnificent glowing Ganesha
backdrop, in front of thousands. 🐘

On this most auspicious day —
may every obstacle in your life
dissolve, and every new
beginning be blessed. 🙏

🙏 Some songs, they say,
were never really written.
They were received. 🕊️

“Oru Neramenkilum Kaanaathe
Vayyente Guruvayoorappa Nin
Dhivya Roopam...” 💙

Not even for a moment can I bear
to be without the sight of your
divine form, Guruvayurappa.

The lyricist believed the Lord
himself whispered these words
to him. The composer believed
the tune was Guruvayurappan’s own
gift. Born at a concert, at the
temple, in an instant of pure
devotion — and it has never
stopped moving hearts since. 🙏

Tonight, at Onam Ragam
Nandagovindham — Kerala’s
Biggest Bhajans Experience —
the legendary KS Harisankar
joined the Nandagovindam family
to carry this prayer forward,
as dancers moved on either side
of the stage like living
offerings to the Lord. 💃🕺

Set in the rare Dwijavanti raga.
First sung by KJ Yesudas.
Tonight, a new voice —
the same longing. 💙

Guruvayoorappa. 🙏
