Spent some time chasing trout around in the river/creeks for my birthday. This one has to be one of the prettiest browns I’ve ever caught. Sun was setting so doesn’t really do it justice how lit up he was. Fun fight on the light gear!

October has always been a hit or miss month for me with bass fishing. Some years I find them biting like crazy and can do no wrong. Then I try to recreate that pattern the next year just to find slim pickings, part of the fun I guess. This year seems to be the confidence baits, what’s your favorite thing to throw in the spooky month?
