WOW!! how lucky am i to have something worth missing?!? i am beyond grateful for these people, this organization, and this university. i truly am a better human because i was blessed to be apart of something as special as fish camp.

to camp hart! thank you for being my why. you showed me what i could gain if i took the chance, stepped out of my comfort zone, and just did it. i will never have enough words to say thank you.

to camp lugo! thank you for taking me in as a baby and helping me grow into who i am today. you gave me my first family in college and showed me what it means to love something so much it hurts to see it grow up. you will always be my why fish camp again.

to camp deegear! thank you for giving me even more people to love and another family i know will be forever. you reminded me why i fell in love with fish camp. i would give anything to do it all over again with the exact same people.

to brenna and jack! thank you for giving me another chance and choosing me to be apart of your family. you led us with so much grace and always showed up for us. i will forever be grateful for you both!

to my second years! gosh what a ride! the bond the eight of us share is something i will cherish forever. we grew so much together this summer, and i know it doesn’t stop here. i will never stop talking about how grateful i am for yall!

to my baby first years! watching all 16 of you grow has been one of my favorite parts of being a second year. you showed up tenfold, and i will forever be in awe of how lucky our camp got with each of you!

and to my perfect partner! Jacob, you are a gift of a person. i knew from the start you were going to be my partner, even if you didn’t!! you are the calm to my crazy and always kept me grounded. you made my last fish camp everything and more. you are why we have the most touse dg there is. i will forever be thankful for you and our friendship!!

thank you over and over again fish camp for giving me people, experiences, and stories i will cherish forever. i’ll love you forever!!
