This week, we asked some of our RPS students, “What’s one thing your principal always says?” 🎤

From daily reminders to familiar sayings, our students seem to know their principals well!

As we continue celebrating National Principals Month, we want to hear from you! What’s something your principal always says? Let us know in the comments.👇

This week we asked our students from @heritagewareagles, @rali_rogers, and Rogers High School, attending the College and Career Fair, what their 5 year goals are.

Thank you to all the schools, recruits, and employers who came and gave our students the opportunity to explore different college and career paths as they plan for their futures!🎓

**The Evolution of High School Education in Rogers, Arkansas**

For nearly 150 years, Rogers students have learned, competed, and made memories across several campuses. Here’s a look at how high school education in Rogers has evolved:

**Rogers Academy (1883–1909)**
Founded two years after Rogers was incorporated, Rogers Academy was the city’s first institution of higher learning and helped lay the foundation for secondary education in Rogers.

**Downtown Era (1909–1922)**
After voters approved a public high school, classes were first held in the former Academy building, marking the beginning of public high school education in Rogers.

**Walnut Street Campus (1922–1959)**
Opened in 1922, the Walnut Street campus educated generations of Mountaineers through decades of growth, change, and community pride.

**South 5th Street Campus (1959–2008)**
As enrollment grew, Rogers High School moved to South 5th Street in 1959. For nearly 50 years, this campus became one of the most recognizable school sites in Northwest Arkansas.

**Dixieland Road Campus (2001–Present)**
Rogers High School moved to its current Dixieland Road campus in 2001, continuing Mountaineer traditions while serving a rapidly growing community.

**Rogers Heritage High School (2008–Present)**
The historic 5th Street campus became Heritage High School in 2008. The War Eagles inherited a campus rich with Rogers history while building traditions of their own.

**RALI (2013–Present)**
Originally Rogers New Technology High School, RALI introduced project-based learning, leadership, innovation, and real-world problem solving.

From Rogers Academy in 1883 to today’s three high schools, each generation has helped write another chapter in the story of Rogers.
