13 yr old Rossland local @redbikepark ambassador 😀

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

At the beginning of the summer, we asked our RED Athletes and Ambassadors to write down their mountain biking goals. Now that the season’s wrapped, we checked in to see how things went.

Lots of goals were checked off this summer, even if there’s not always footage to prove it. 😉

We’re pretty lucky to have had this crew riding with us all summer. They’ve spent the season pushing their own riding, getting others stoked on the trails and sharing their love for mountain biking and RED along the way.

HUGE shoutout to Ambassador @ram_bam2013, who had the most Bike Park scans of anyone this summer, checking in for a whopping 70 different days. 🎉 That’s some serious dedication. His progression has been huge this year, so keep an eye on this one. 🙌🔥

And to everyone who set a goal, big or small, and went after it this summer: nice work.

What was your bike park goal this summer? Did you check it off?

Your camera roll after spending the summer at RED Bike Park ⬆️📸

What a year! Fast Track Thursdays, post-work laps, the BC Cup and everything else that made up another summer at RED Bike Park. Rain or shine, you put some serious mileage on those trails this summer.

And of course, none of it happens without our team. A massive thank you to our trail crew, patrol, bike school, maintenance crew, lifties, bike techs, volunteers, slushie slingers and everyone else who keeps the Bike Park running all summer. It takes a lot of people to make a season happen, and we couldn’t do it without you. ❤️

Thanks for riding. Thanks for sending it. Thanks for making another one a good one.

See you next summer. 🤘

With 27 visits in 33 operating days, RED Ambassador @ram_bam2013 currently holds the #1 spot for the most bike park visits this season! 🤘

After moving to Rossland three years ago, mountain biking quickly became more than just a hobby. It only took a couple of bike lessons for his coaches to call him “the sender”. These days, Ram is always looking to ride a little faster, jump a little bigger, and squeeze in one more lap with the boys. 😎

Not my smartest moment… was riding the awesome new Obsidius trail at @redbikepark with the next generation of rippers @kieran_clarke18 in front, @ram_bam2013 and Devin behind. Made a last minute decision to hit the wall ride as I thought it would look sweet on the go pro looking down at Kieran. But once I was on the wall I realized I was going to land right on top of him… slammed the brakes, lost traction and came off the wall sideways 😬 Luckily Ramsay and Devin are total animals and rode right over my bike without destroying themselves. I’m beaten up but somehow seem ok. Looking forward to more Obsidius laps soon!!!

Consider supporting the associations in Rossland that help maintain the trails and advocate for the mountain bike community. @k_c_t_s

Rossland’s trails are on the unceded traditional territory of the Sinixt Nation.

We are STOKED to be open for the season! 🤘 Thanks for coming out and making it a good one. There’s a whole lot more where that came from.

On the ground for opening day - RED Athlete @damian_fleetwood with the lift line coverage & RED Ambassador @ram_bam2013 with first chair. 💯

Same time tomorrow? 😉
