GUESS WHO’S BACK??

Yup, Miss Millie! If you remember her, you know that she was adopted out 3 months ago and was returned to the rescue today. After coordinating with the family who owned Millie, the rescue and our great friend Ellen, we found a temporary foster until she can come into my home.

In the meantime, we are actively finding a more suitable home for Millie.

She is a year old now, perfectly healthy, fully vaccinated, spayed, leash/crate/potty trained.

She is suspecting to be around 30-32 pounds at this time. Will not be getting any bigger than the size you see in the photos.

She’s a very playful puppy, in which she loves walks, hikes, and playing in the backyard. She loves cuddling on the couch just as much.

The most suitable home for Millie would be a home with older kiddos, a persistent family who will continue basic commands and training, an active family/couple/person and someone who understands she deserves the ABSOLUTE WORLD!!!! ❤️

Please share her story, and if anybody is interested let us know, we can answer any and all questions 😊

Another successful adoption event for Miss Lucia! She met some new friends, got great exposure with some friendly kiddos who were interested in petting her cute face and of course ate all the treats she could get.

Adoption events are such great exposure experiences for foster dogs to get them accustomed to different environments and meet new people. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello to the wonderful dogs we have up for adoption. They appreciate the love ❤️ Please make sure to share their posts for more exposure. All of our special dogs have a forever family waiting for them, they just need to be seen!

Thank you @homeboundhoundsorg for beautifully setting up the event. 🫶🏽 grateful to be working with you guys!!

Whatever chapter I’m in right now is dark, chaotic, and mentally exhausting. Moments of positive emotion feel exhilarating, while moments of negative emotion feel absolutely unbearable.

Right now, I’m finding every way I can to create happy memories while finding ways to rewrite the rest of this chapter.

So, enjoy these happy moments with me. ❤️🫶🏽

One thing we LOVE doing is giving our fosters new foods to build up their food palette. Watermelon is an excellent low-calorie, hydrating treat for your dog. Composed of about 92% water, it is perfect for hot days like yesterday!! It is also packed with essential nutrients like vitamins A, B6, and C, as well as antioxidants (like lycopene) that support a healthy immune system.

This is Willie’s, Dusa’s and Lucia’s first taste of watermelon and in conclusion they loved it!

We would love to see videos of your puppers taking bites from a watermelon slice 🍉

Sometimes our lives have to be completely shaken up, changed, & rearranged to relocate us to the place we’re meant to be. And I am….exactly where I need to be.
