And the best moments happen when you stop worrying about what strangers might think of you

I went for a walk around Lisbon to get my mind off some sad thoughts and pop into KIKO for a little shopping therapy

But then I bumped into @ramallobr7 playing live music on the street, and of course I had to stop and listen!

And when he started singing Spanish songs… well, there was NO WAY I was going to stand still 😂

I don’t know about you, but shopping, singing and dancing are my three favorite ways to cheer myself up. And somehow I got all three in one walk!

And the funniest part? My little performance ended with me meeting a lovely couple at the next table, and what was supposed to be a quiet evening turned into such a fun night with some amazing new people!

And that’s why my favorite kind of therapy is just going outside and letting life surprise me

And please support street musicians! They make our cities feel alive ❤️

We’re always rushing somewhere, but sometimes the best part of your day happens when you stop for a moment

I was actually on a date that day (my single T-shirt is working, girls 😅), and we’d already walked past this musician when I heard his voice and just HAD to turn around and leave my date for a little while 😂

Street musicians have always been my weakness. If I love someone’s voice or music, I’ll stop, listen and sometimes even join in, singing or dancing along!

Fun fact: when I was younger, I used to sing with a street musician on the main street of my hometown just for fun. And we discovered that having a pretty girl singing next to him was actually good for tips 😂

I’ve loved singing and dancing since I was a kid. My summer holidays were basically one big karaoke session, and I still take singing lessons from time to time. I’d really love to learn how to jam with other musicians someday!

But here’s something I wanted to say

Please support street musicians ❤️ And I don’t necessarily mean with money

Sometimes just stopping for a minute, smiling, singing along or showing some appreciation can mean a lot

And if you film them and share their music, please tag them! Give more people a chance to discover their talent ❤️
