Sharing the stage with such incredible talents was an absolute dream, especially watching the inspiring @ramawidi work his magic on the harp—truly breathtaking!

Cheers to 35 years of beautiful symphonies and a huge thank you to Maestro @addiems9599 for this lifetime experience.

"35 Tahun Twilite Orchestra, Visi Mulia di Kemegahan Musik Orchestra"

Kompas.com, 8 September 2026, 19:26 Ninok Leksono, Dian Maharani. Tim Redaksi

The repertoire of the Twilite Orchestra's 35th Anniversary Concert last Sunday mostly consisted of compositions they had performed between the 1990s and the early 2000s. This included classical, musical theater, and opera pieces such as the Die Fledermaus Overture, Hungarian Dance No. 5, Selections from The Phantom of the Opera, "March of the Toreadors" (Carmen), "Nessun Dorma" (Turandot), "O Mio Babbino Caro" (Gianni Schicchi), and "Sempre Libera" & "Libiamo ne' lieti calici" (La Traviata).

In addition, they performed video game music—specifically "Liberi Fatali" from Final Fantasy VIII—alongside iconic scores from the movies Star Wars and The Mission. The program also featured an arrangement by Addie MS entitled Fantasia Nusantara for Harp & Orchestra, beautifully performed by Rama Widi @ramawidi as well as "Padre," composed by Adinda Bakrie @adindabakrie

The highlight of the concert came during the encore, when they brought a touch of Indonesian culture to the stage with the Javanese song "Pamer Bojo." The entire audience was drawn into a festive atmosphere as the orchestra, choirs, and even the vocal soloists, Meechot @meechot.marrero and Oswin @oswinwilke joined the celebration led by conductor Addie MS @addiems999

For me, the 35th Anniversary Concert left behind a wonderful blend of nostalgia and pure happiness. It was definitely an afternoon to remember.

Thank you to Addie MS, and to Indra Bakrie for supporting the Twilite Orchestra since the very beginning. Huge thanks also go to Summarecon, ABF @adindabakriefoundation and BRI for their continuous support to the Twilite Orchestra in bringing such joy to Indonesian music lovers.

May the orchestra continue to grace the stage for many years to come.
